We are looking to fill two vacancies on the Board (members at large). We are also interested in expanding our capacity and resources through volunteers interested in specific tasks outside of Board responsibilities.
New Board members would be expected to attend bi-monthly meetings, as directed by the Foundation’s bylaws and constitution. We are searching for individuals who will promote our mandate to the broader community and in their own networks.
Volunteers would be asked to lend their expertise or assistance in a variety of areas needed to help us sustain the management of the organization, such as web design, social media networking, community outreach, and/or fundraising.
The board meets typically every two months for one hour, and volunteers are expected to commit about two hours per month.
The current membership of the Lambda Foundation board is comprised of members of the queer and trans community. Members of 2SLGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities are especially encouraged to consider applying.
