A Big THANK YOU for Swirl & Twirl

Lambda would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude and an enormous THANK YOU to all the sponsors, attendees, organizers, and friends who helped make Swirl & Twirl 2018 a monumental success and a fabulous evening!

Thanks to everyone’s help and support during Swirl & Twirl—most importantly, our Board members Cameron and Barb, RBC, and the Swirl & Twirl planning committee (with Glenn Crawford as Chair)—Lambda has received a whopping $2,870 in funds raised!

Wow! That’s a huge amount! And it will help us with all the awards we have established, including new ones at the Université de Montréal and our new STEM Award at the University of Alberta!

This includes:

  • RBC for its generous $1000 donation
  • All the people who bought tickets in the name of Lambda
  • The tireless team who organized this fantastic soiree
  • And generous local businesses and people who supplied merch for the silent auction at the event:
    • La Coupe Courante
    • Bonds Decor
    • Black Squirrel Books and Espresso Bar
    • Life of Pie
    • Stella Luna Gelato
    • Mayfair Theatre
    • Aroma Espresso Bar
    • Gabriella Goliger (for the Healthy Pets gift certificate)

Thank you again! We had a great time and can’t wait ’til next year!
