But what happens when the knowledge we rely on is incomplete?

When research is shaped by only one perspective, it reinforces the status quo and leaves marginalized voices unheard. Lambda Foundation examines why 2SLGBTQIA+ and QTBIPOC research remains critically underfunded in Canada—and why that matters for justice, policy, and representation.

Lambda Foundation funds scholars whose work is grounded in lived experience, expanding the questions we ask and the solutions we create.
