Fyrefly Institute for Gender and Sexual Diversity

The Fyrefly Institute has served 2SLGBTQ+ people for more than twenty years, fighting for queer rights since before marriage equality was achieved in Canada.

They offer the Ronald Gordon Roswell-O’Connor Graduate Award and the Stephen and Lynn Mandel Graduate Scholarship to support UAlberta graduate students whose research engages with and uplifts the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
